Dr. Roshanak Joulaie
Dr. Joulaie received her B.Sc. in Biology and her M.Sc. in Molecular Genetics at York University. She has done various clinical research on glaucoma at St Michael's hospital in Toronto. She graduated from the Doctor of Optometry program at the University of Waterloo in 2014. As part of her training, she completed an eye disease internship in a busy general ophthalmology practice. There she gained extensive training and hands on experience in diagnosing and treating ocular diseases with the focus on glaucoma and post refractive eye surgery care.
Dr. Joulaie is also very passionate about doing pediatric eye care. Myopia (often called short-sightedness) is an eye health issue, which typically presents at school age children and is on the rise. Although it can be easily corrected by regular glasses or contact lenses, it can have long term eye health implications if allowed to worsen unchecked. Using specially designed glasses lenses, specialty contact lens designs and eye drops can help. She has been trained to prevent onset of myopia or slowing its progression with these tools. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO) and Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO).

Dr. Raymond Hu
Dr. Hu completed his undergraduate studies in Bio-Medical Science at the University of Guelph before earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo.
During his optometric studies, he developed a strong interest in vision therapy. He furthered his competency by traveling to rural Oklahoma for extensive training in the treatment and management of various ocular diseases such as corneal trauma, dry eyes, glaucoma, diabetes, cataracts, and other retinal diseases.
Since graduating, Dr. Hu remains dedicated to his passion for vision therapy and managing ocular diseases, in addition to addressing general vision-related needs such as optical prescriptions and soft contact lenses. He is an active member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and is registered with the College of Optometrists of Ontario.
In his leisure time, Dr. Hu enjoys engaging in outdoor activities including snowboarding, hiking, fishing, rock climbing, and golfing.
